Brad Downey

Brad Downey started fly fishing 40 years ago while living in Colorado. After numerous pilgrimages to Montana, he decided to make Montana his permanent residence. He has been owner and outfitter for Angler’s Edge on the Bighorn River for the last 26 years. Many of Brad’s patterns, such as the Downey’s Wonder Nymph and Downey Duns, have been mainstays for angler’s fishing the Bighorn and other rivers. Brad continues to explore conceptual tying techniques.
