Andy Carlson

Andy Carlson has been in the fly-fishing business for 34 year as an innovative fly tyer. He has been guiding and outfitting in Western Montana for the past 26 years, focussing on the Bitterroot River. He and his wife Claudette, own and operate Bitterroot Anglers Outfitting. His Bitterroot Stonefly, Purple Haze, and “Quig Cripple” variation have fooled the smartest trout from the Bitterroot River to the Mataura River in New Zealand.
