Bern Sundell

Bern Sundell combines his two great passions in life, fly fishing and painting. A fly fisherman since childhood, he also is well known for his colorful and detailed artwork. Born in Montana, this son of a forest ranger grew up fishing on the Smith River. His art took him to other places for a time but then he returned to Ennis, his original hometown. Bern and his wife have RiverStone Gallery there and he can often be found on the Madison River or other great trout waters in the area. Bern fishes for big trout, the big browns in particular, and the fish he catches transform themselves into his visions on canvas.
