Richard Christiaens was raised in Conrad, Montana. He began his fly-fishing career on the Big Hole River in 1992. Guiding for the Grizzly Hackle in Missoula, the Clark Fork, Blackfoot, Bitteroot Rivers and Rock Creek are his home waters, but his guiding has taken him to most of the rivers of Montana. The GT series (Go To) was designed to imitate natural mayflies struggling from their shucks on and below the surface. Rich's clients have had great success with his GT patterns all over the state of MT, and most have been taking GT's home with them to catch fish all over the US.
