Joel Silverman has been fly-fishing and fly-tying since the early eighties. He started tying commercially in Missoula, MT to help put himself through college. He has guided in Idaho on the South Fork of the Snake, and in Missoula on Rock Creek, the Bitterroot, the Blackfoot, and Clark Fork. The last couple of years he's been steelheading in WA and OR. Joel even made it to the cover of Fly Fisherman magazine. He now resides in Helena, MT.
