Joca Abreu began tying flies at age 24. In 1997 he started guiding on the Alva River in Portugal. In 2006 Joca organized 26th World Fly Fishing Championships in Portugal. He enjoys fishing with small CDC flies and for him, CDC is the absolute best tying material. He started working with Montana Fly in 2005 and is now the exclusive distributor for them in Spain, Portugal, France, and Norway.
