Drayton Osteen started fishing on a trip to Montana in 1982 and eventually moved there in 1992, where he resides today. Due to his knack and passion for fly tying, he is always on the look-out for ways to tweak traditional patterns to make them more effective, or just to create something unique that the fish have never seen. Drayton says "The philosophy of tying flies that are realistic, functional, and with a little something extra that the fish cannot resist, is what makes these patterns so successful. Drayton guides in the Flathead Valley, and lives on the banks of Lake Blaine.
