Dean Reiner learned to fly fish in the late 50's on the chalk streams in central Pennsylvania. In 1999, he opened Hatch Finders Fly Shop in Livingston, MT to fulfill a dream he long held. In his fly shop, along with Pookie his fishing dog, he started tying and designing flies for the Yellowstone River drainage. He is the designer of the Pink Pookie, and ties an average of 2000 dozen flies a year for his shop. He has been fishing the waters of Montana for the past 28 years, and since 1989 he has guided from Yellowstone National Park to the Bighorn and Missouri Rivers and the area spring creeks. For the past 10 years Dean has been hosting trips to the best salt water destinations in the world.
