Damien Nurre is a native of the Midwest, who migrated west in search of snow-covered mountains. His journey led him to Missoula, Montana, where he quickly learned the art of catching fish on the fly. While following the endless winter he moved further west to Bend, Oregon, where he now resides. Since the day he arrived in Oregon, he has immersed himself in the culture of fly fishing, becoming a creative tier and renowned guide. Currently he is the owner of Deep Canyon Outfitters, and spends his time guiding andtesting new flies on the well known Deschutes River and chasing chukar and pheasants with his clients in Central Oregon.
