Charles A. Kraft Jr. better known as Chuck Kraft, has been a full-time fishing guide for 28 years. He resides in Charlottesville, VA with his wife, Shirley. Chuck has 3 children, and 4 grand children, but still finds the time to design and tie flies, which he has been doing since 1959. Chuck's flies were originally designed after lures and pork baits, and after trying to use rabbit and deer hide, he resorted to synthetic materials so that these flies were not only durable, but imitated the action of the prey species very well. His patterns not only work for bass and trout, but also for Saltwater species too, and are used all over the world. If you can't get ahold of Chuck, he is probably at camp, where he still guides 7 months out of the year.

Rea has also been a competitive guide in a list of fishing tournaments in the Keys. His most recent accomplishment is winning the 2011 Del Brown Invitational Permit Tournament. Rea and his angler, Greg Vincent, won in 2009 making them the only team to win this exclusive fly fishing tournament twice. Other tournament wins include: 2010 Del Brown First Runner-Up, 2009 RedBone S.L.A.M. Team Grand Champion, and the 2008, 2009, and 2011 Grand Champion SuperFly Tournament.

Rea is featured in the first of its kind fly fishing for Permit video, Lance Gleason's newest film, "Black Tailed Devils," which is for sale in tackle shops across the country. In 2010 Rea and Gleason teamed up to create and produce the "Getting Guided" television series for the Sportsman's and Pursuit channel on Direct TV.
