Bryan Lex grew up in Butte Creek Canyon and has enjoyed fishing the diverse lakes and streams of Northern California since childhood. During that time he has always had a keen interest in the natural habitat and entomology associated with trout and steelhead fishing. His realistic (and deadly) "Sexy Stones" are a result of his attention to the proportion, mottling, and shape of stonefly nymphs.
