ADAM TRINA, President and Founder of Montana Fly Company, started fly-fishing at a young age, in the Adirondack Mountains near Lake Placid, in upstate New York. He tied flies for Fran Betters for 3 years during high school. In a quest for more and bigger trout he moved to Missoula, Montana to pursue his degree in Aquatic Biology from the University of Montana.Adam started guiding in Missoula in 1992 and eventually guided on most Montana rivers, including Rock Creek, Clark Fork,Bitteroot, Blackfoot, Missouri, Smith, Bighole, Beaverhead, and theYellowstone rivers. He continued to tie commercially for6 years for the Missoulian Angler, Grizzly Hackle, and Kingfisher Fly Shops.He started Montana Fly Company in 1998 to provide shops with better and more innovative patterns than were currently available.

DUNCAN OSWALD has been fly fishing since he was 9 years old following his Grandfather along to fish high-mountain streams. He has tied flies commercially for 25 years, and has guided for trout and salmon for 4 years in Alaska in Wood River-Tikchik State Park, and for 5 years on Missoula-area streams for several different fly shops. He graduated from the University of Montana with a degree in Fisheries Biology, and has worked for the Forest Service on endangered Bull Trout and spring spawing Chinook Salmon projects in ID, and on catch and release
projects on Alaskan Rainbow Trout for the U.S.G.S. He has assisted in managing Montana Fly Company factories in Costa Rica
and in Thailand since their inception in1998. When he isn't fishing he is usually obtaining fly-tying materials with a bow or gun.
