DOUG SWISHER is one of the best-known fly-fishing personalities of our time. He is an author, casting instructor, photographer, and a gifted fly designer.Doug has written 11 books and produced 7 fly-fishing videos. These books, videos, and numerous articles established Doug as one of the foremost contemporary experts on fly-fishing. Swisher's Double Parachute Hopper is a big step in the rightdirection over standard parachute hoppers. And his original bullethead-style Madam-X has become popular worldwide.
BEN FURIMSKY has been fly-fishing since he was five and tying flies since the age of seven. He guides from the waters of the Gunnison River in CO to the salt waters of NJ. Ben grew up fishing the famed spring Creeks of Pennsylvania developing skills which he has taken to the western waters. This background has taught him to develop flies that take fish in all conditions,no matter how selective. None of his patterns are considered a success unless they have taken fish all over the country!
JOEL SILVERMAN has been fly-fishing and fly-tying since the early eighties. He started tying commercially in
Missoula, MT to help put himself through college. He has guided in Idaho on the South Fork of the Snake, and in Missoula on Rock Creek, the Bitterroot, the Blackfoot, and Clark Fork. The last couple of years he's been steelheading in WA and OR. Joel even made it to the cover of Fly Fisherman Magazine.
KYLE GIAMPAOLI grew up in northern California. He was taught by his father at a very young age the art of fly-fishing and fly-tying. He started guiding for Tahoe Fly Fishing Outfitters at the age of 18.He moved to Montana and guided for the Five Rivers Lodge in southwestern Montana. He currently guides during the winter out of Marco Island, FL for saltwater species, and
around Dillon, MT during the summertime.Kyle enjoys fly-fishing because it offers new challenges every day. The sport has taken him to many beautiful places throughout the world. See his web site at www.marcoislandflyfishing.com

NATE TURNER was born in MT and raised on the banks of Oregon's Metolius River. Nate has devoted his life to the pursuit of fish on the fly. Unless he's guiding the Lower Deschutes River for native trout and hot summer-run steelies, he spends the balance of his season exploring the rivers of the Pacific Northwest and Montana...living out of his truck and tying files by headlamp. "Tying flies in lieu of eating or sleeping often results in some of my most effective and creative patterns. Tie those flies and fish'em...you can sleep when you're dead!"
ROWAN NYMAN started guiding in Montana at Lost Fork Ranch on the Madison River. He worked there as a guide for 3 years, and has commercially tied fies for 14 years. Rowan especially enjoys fishing with cripples, as you can see from the patterns we represent for him. Check out his new Royal Wulff cripple in the new fly section.
WALT MUELLER, JR. a.ka."The Otter" (always in the water and usually catching fish) lives on the head-waters of the Blue River in Colorado.Walt's been tying flies for 50 years, and his tying vise is a mere 30 feet from the Blue River, so testing his new patterns is a snap! Walt fishes the Great Lakes tributaries in MI, NY, and PA for steelhead each spring and fall.
Bryan Lex grew up in Butte Creek Canyon and has enjoyed fishing the diverse lakes and streams of Northern California since childhood. During that time he has always had a keen interest in the natural habitat and entomology associated with trout and steelhead fishing. His realistic (and deadly) "Sexy Stones" are a result of his attention to the proportion, mottling, and
shape of stonefly nymphs.
Travis Rydberg - Born and raised in Montana, Travis has been fishing and tying flies for over 20 years. He learned to fly fish at an early age while spending the summers at his grandparents cabin on the Stillwater river.
